Chris Jastrzebski, Full Stack Developer

Chris Jastrzebski is a full stack developer, reporting directly to clients. Chris is responsible for all development at Designfox, including the information architecture, user interface, functionality, user experience and performance of Designfox's websites and web apps. Chris is also responsible for server administration and security, and is integral in the operation of Designfox’s hosting company, Hostfish.

Since 2013, Chris has lead Designfox's web development, which performs to some of the highest standards in the world. He works on a number of major in-house projects including the strategy for all of Designfox's websites and web apps. Chris is responsible for producing all of Designfox's design and development.

Prior to Designfox, Chris spent 3 years in the legal department at Nikon Inc. and was responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements with Fortune-level companies. He also spent 7 years at Runaway Studios, an audio engineering, graphic design, web design and compact disc manufacturing company where he was responsible for producing about 1,000 projects for about 700 clients.

Since 1996, Chris has been practicing graphic design, web design and web development in Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress; and e-commerce development in Drupal Commerce, Magento and OpenCart. He is fluent in HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, javascript, jQuery, jQuery UI, PHP, MySql, Photoshop; optimizing websites for search engines (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and social media marketing (SMM).

Chris holds a license to practice law in New York State. He earned a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a Richardson Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Dayton. As an undergraduate, he received the Sigma Phi Epsilon Annual Philanthropy Award and was awarded memberships to the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Sigma Tau Honor Society. He served as President of the Campus Activities Board, President of Aid to Special People, Event Coordinator of Sigma Phi Epsilon and member on the committee of Alpha Epsilon Delta.
